Job Title: Placement Head – Skill Development

Location: [Trivendrum]

Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:
Placement & Industry Relations:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with recruiters, HR professionals, and industry leaders.
  • Collaborate with organizations to create job and internship opportunities for students.
  • Organize campus placement drives, job fairs, and networking events.
  • Negotiate and finalize placement agreements with companies.
Student Career Development:
  • Conduct training sessions, resume-building workshops, mock interviews, and soft-skills enhancement programs.
  • Guide students on career paths, job search strategies, and industry expectations.
  • Ensure students meet the eligibility criteria and are well-prepared for interviews.
Placement Strategy & Planning:
  • Develop and implement a strategic placement plan to improve the placement rate.
  • Analyze industry trends to align student training with job market needs.
  • Monitor and track placement statistics and provide reports to management.
Collaboration & Coordination:
  • Work closely with faculty, alumni, and student committees to enhance placement activities.
  • Coordinate with training partners to provide specialized skill development programs.
  • Ensure effective communication between students, recruiters, and stakeholders.


RequirementsRequired Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, Education, or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in placements, corporate relations, or recruitment.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Leadership and team management experience.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and hiring practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in an educational institute or training organization.
  • Familiarity with recruitment software and job portals.
  • Strong analytical and strategic planning skills.

Requirements
Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's/Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in placement coordination, corporate relations, or recruitment, preferably in skill development programs. Strong industry network and experience in engaging with corporate HR teams. Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills. Knowledge of government and private-sector skill development initiatives is a plus.
