As we continue to grow, we’re looking for creative talent to help amplify our voice across social media.W- https://news.meaww.com/Role OverviewAs the News Video Producer – Night Shift, you will be the senior-most decision-maker during overnight hours, responsible for overseeing real-time editorial operations across the video news team. You’ll lead a group of editors, strategists, and social media team members to ensure sharp, fast, and accurate content output around major U.S. political developments and breaking stories.What you’ll doWatch U.S. political news and social feeds throughout the day and flag the best stories fast.Double-check facts with two trusted sources before we move.Find usable clips/photos and write a short brief for editors (title, hook, 3 key points).Work with video editors to get the cut out quickly and cleanly.Share quick status updates: what’s in progress, what’s next, and when it’s ready.Review results weekly and suggest small improvements to titles, hooks, and formats.What We’re Looking ForStrong interest in U.S. politics (or the drive to learn fast).Experience working in a creative/video team and collaborating with editors.You understand how social media works (YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram Reels).You can write clear, punchy titles, hooks, and short scripts.Organized, reliable, and comfortable working on quick turnarounds.Basic sense of what makes a video clickable in the first 3–5 seconds.How We’ll Know You’re GreatYou spot strong stories early and flag them quickly.Your titles/hooks lift performance above our usual views.You hand off clean briefs and keep editors unblocked.You communicate clearly and hit your ETAs.Nice to havePrior newsroom or short-form news experience.Basic editing familiarity (Premiere/CapCut) and thumbnail ideas.BenefitsShift RequirementsTimings: 8:00 PM – 5:00 AM IST (Aligned with U.S. Eastern Time zone), 6 days per week, mid-week Off.Must be available during high-impact political events or breaking newsOccasional overlap with day shift teams for strategy or trainingCTC: 4-8 LPA, depending on the selection process and experience.Why Join MEAWW?Be the face of our U.S. video news desk during critical overnight hours.Own editorial and operational decision-making for a high-impact audience.Work with a growing global newsroom and innovative content creators.Competitive compensation and fast-track career growth for high performers.
