This is a hands-on development role requiring excellent platform knowledge, coding skills, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. The candidate will design, configure, and support SAM solutions and analyze new features, including skip-level upgrades and enhancements introduced during ServiceNow family releases.Key Responsibilities1. ServiceNow DevelopmentStrong understanding of ServiceNow core & platform featuresConfigure, extend, and customize ServiceNow SAM modulesImplement automation using Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and server/client-side scriptingBuild and maintain integrations with third-party SaaS platforms such as Microsoft 365, Salesforce, Adobe, AWS, etc.Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following best practicesDevelop Automated Test Framework (ATF) test cases2. SaaS IntegrationsDeliver end-to-end integration lifecycle: requirements → design → development → testing → deploymentBuild integrations using REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, MID ServerMonitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integration performance3. Software Asset Management (SAM)Support software license tracking, compliance, and optimizationConfigure Discovery, Normalization, Reconciliation, License Models within SAM ProCollaborate with IT, procurement, and business teams to ensure full asset visibility4. Collaboration & SupportWork with vendors and stakeholders to review and clarify requirementsCollaborate with architects, senior developers, and BAs to translate business needs into technical solutionsParticipate in code reviews, peer learning sessions, and platform upgradesCreate documentation and support knowledge transferRequired Qualifications3–5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience2+ years working with ServiceNow SAMStrong proficiency in:JavaScript, Glide APIAngularJS, Jelly, HTML, CSSExperience with ServiceNow tables, CMDB, relationships, and data structuresHands-on experience with web service integrations:REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, MID Server, IntegrationHubUnderstanding of software licensing models, compliance, SaaS spend optimizationWorking knowledge of Agile/Scrum, Git, DevOps pipelinesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and communicate design decisions effectivelyPreferred QualificationsServiceNow CSAServiceNow CIS–SAM (Implementation Specialist – SAM)Knowledge of ITAM, ITSM, CMDB best practicesUnderstanding of cloud/SaaS licensing models across Azure, AWS, GCP
