Iron Mountain's Global Technology Organization is looking for a Director of Digital Platforms for building Strategic Digital Platforms for Digital BU.
An ideal candidate for this role must be a passionate, team-oriented problem solver who understands and differentiates between what users want vs. what they need to create industry leading solutions. They should demonstrate a hybrid of business and technical acumen and understanding of consumer centricity to enable digital experiences. The Director will be responsible for driving the strategy, execution, and delivery of solution accelerators. The leader will scale the business vertical by building and leading a core team to deliver the solution and enable core Platform features through Iron Mountain and partner teams.
Education
Undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or other related field required
MBA/Masters degree is preferred, not required
Skills & Competencies:
15+ years of leadership experience
Ability to effectively communicate effectively with users, partners, leaders, and customers. Especially needed is the ability to tailor communication to suit audiences of varying backgrounds - break down complex technical information into easily understood messages
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and teams with competing priorities. Experience with Agile development and delivery.
Technical foundation in software system design, data systems, and microservices architecture
Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure and services (GCP, AWS, and Azure)
Familiarity with Low-code / No-code UI, workflows and SaaS platform engineering
Product Management experience in addition to the technology experience is a plus
Ensure successful delivery of a large portfolio of initiatives using SAFe (scaled agile framework)
Experience taking part in discussions with product management, IRM business operations, sales / pre-sales teams and direct customer-facing meetings.
Experience with ECM, IDP, or document management systems
Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure and services (GCP, AWS, and Azure)
Strong Knowledge of Microservices Architecture and Design
Familiarity with Low-code / No-code platform engineering
Familiarity with SaaS platform engineering
Familiarity with BPM Solutions
The position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders in product management, IT, marketing, finance, and sales teams

Key Responsibilities:
Define, align and evolve the solution strategy for Digital Platforms -Imaging, IDP, DXP, Models, Quality Assurance
Understand and communicate the value being delivered by the solution to stakeholders
Proactively seek consensus to establish strategic priorities.
Manage effective stakeholder engagement across all levels. This includes the ultimate users of the platform, sales, pre-sales, product, and support
Encourage creativity and challenge traditional thinking to solve business problems
Manage multiple strategic enterprise clients ensuring detailed solution designs, sound execution plan, and attention to detail. Understand and advocate customer needs regarding product strategy
Own the success of the Global Platforms
Keep informed of regional industry trends through benchmarking, participation in professional associations, conferences etc. in order to lead strategic business direction of the vertical
Communicate and share industry insights with the entire leadership team to stay aligned on product strategy
Participate in customer conversations along with the commercial and pre-sales teams, and present IRM digital solutions with the customers
Proactively partner with local technology/channel partners to drive IRM digital solution adoption in the region
Build / customize platforms to support regional/ strategic deals with new functionally as well as price point of view
Utilize design thinking methodologies and processes to facilitate development of solution design and architecture.
Coach and mentor Insight engineering team members.
Work with Insight product management and other Insight team members on existing features and future roadmap items.
Participate/Lead design and solution discussions with various Iron Mountain partner vendors.
Stay current on various Cloud, AI/ML, Content Services, RPA, and BPM practices/technologies.
Analyzes and resolves issues; Escalates issues to senior management when required.
Support and promote Iron Mountain core values.
Functional Knowledge Skills & Competencies:
Skills:
Strong technical background and understanding of enterprise solutions including networking, storage, hardware, and software layers.
Strong understanding of Cloud Technologies and solutions (GCP or AWS or Azure)
Strong understanding of Machine Learning and AI techniques, including usage of cognitive services and open source models.
Working knowledge of Agile frameworks
Strong understanding of Electronic Content Management Systems and Business Process Management Systems.
Strong research, analytical, and problem solving skills
Strong verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize issues in a complex environment.
Ability to participate and contribute in discussions related to ML/AI, ECM, BPM with various industry leading vendors.
Architecture certification (e.g. TOGAF, ZACHMAN) is a plus
