The Role
We’re searching for a visionary Asst. Art Director who thinks in storyboards, dreams in color systems, and treats AI as a co-designer. You’ll own our visual identity across web, print, social, events, video, and emerging formats—and build the team, processes, and design culture that make it legendary.
What You’ll Do
🎨 Build the brand
Define and evolve the visual language for all Guild properties.
🚀 Lead design everywhere
Web, social, editorial, motion, events, spatial, OOH—nothing is off-canvas.
🤖 Harness creative AI
Integrate Gen-AI tools (Midjourney, DALL·E, Runway, Sora, Adobe Firefly, etc.) into concepting, style-frames, motion pre-viz, and rapid prototyping.
📽️ Elevate video & motion
Partner with our video team to craft cinematic title cards, lower thirds, and data-driven infographics;
guide AI-assisted videoediting and VFX workflows.
🛠️ Systemize excellence
Create scalable design systems, asset libraries, and AI prompts that speed up quality, not compromise it.
🧑🤝🧑 Mentor & multiply
Coach graphic designers, motion artists, and freelancers;
instill a culture of critique and craft.
🔗 Collaborate at altitude
Work hand-in-hand with Editorial, Marketing, Events, and Product to ensure every touchpoint feels unmistakably “The Guild”.

Ensure every output is gold-standard—visually striking, strategically on-point, and on time.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 6–10 yrs leading multi-disciplinary design teams in media, digital publishing, or agency environments.
- Core Tools: Adobe CC (Ps, Ai, Id, Ae), Figma;
bonus points for Blender/C4D, Unreal, or 3-D prototyping apps. - AI Fluency: Proven use of Gen-AI image/video tools for ideation or production;
ability to write, refine, and share effective prompt libraries. - Visual Mastery: Expert eye for typography, color, layout, motion, data-viz & brand systems.
- Storytelling & Strategy: You see the narrative thread behind every pixel and can sell the concept in the boardroom.
- Soft-Power Traits: Tastemaker - Strategic thinker - Detail-obsessive - Feedback-giver - Boundary-pusher - Builder of legacy, not just assets.

An understanding of B2B creative aesthetics, business storytelling, and content or design crafted for CXOs, decision-makers, and professional audiences is essential for success at The Guild.
