Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly driven and entrepreneurial leader to manage the end-to-end business of a category with full P&L ownership. The role requires expertise in scaling business across marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart), driving traffic on owned platforms, planning marketing campaigns, managing inventory, and expanding business. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong execution skills and a proven track record of driving growth in the e-commerce ecosystem.


Key Responsibilities:


Own and lead the category’s business performance with complete P&L accountability.


Drive traffic and sales growth on the company’s own app for the assigned category.


Scale up business on leading e-commerce platforms such as Amazon and Flipkart.


Plan and execute marketing initiatives including digital ads, influencer campaigns, and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) marketing to drive visibility and revenue.


Manage inventory, demand forecasting, and plan introduction of new SKUs based on market gaps and consumer insights.


Develop and execute strategies to scale the business in international markets, particularly the US.


Continuously analyze category performance, market trends, and competitor strategies to identify growth opportunities.


Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and product teams to ensure seamless execution.


Key Skills & Competencies:


Strong business acumen with proven experience in category management and P&L ownership.


Excellent understanding of e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Flipkart) and app-based sales.


Hands-on experience in digital marketing (ads, influencers, social media campaigns).


Proficiency in inventory planning, demand forecasting, and assortment management.


Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.


Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to drive business scaling in domestic and international markets.


Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.


Qualifications & Experience:


MBA/PGDM in Marketing, Business, or related field.


8–12 years of experience in category management / e-commerce / business scaling roles.


Prior experience in managing P&L and scaling business on Amazon, Flipkart, and own platforms.


Exposure to international market expansion (especially US) preferred.
