Position PurposeTo spearhead achievement of third party product business in the branch . The primary responsibility of the Investment Counsellor is to drive third party product business through Relationship Managers who are responsible for cross-selling / up-selling / to the existing customer base of broking as well as acquiring new customers for the organization. The Investment Counsellor will report to the City Head of the Segment.ResponsibilitiesDirect ResponsibilitiesOwnership of the Asset Gathering Target of the Zone & assigned territoryDriving Investment Product Sales through Wealth Relationship Managers and Business Development Relationship Managers.Increasing AUM of the locationPenetration of existing client base for creating new investors in MF/Investments from existing client baseEnsuring better client experience both by qualitative and quantitative interventionsAssist in investment portfolio asset allocation of customersPortfolio Monitoring/ReviewReallocation of portfolios as and when required for risk management or sales opportunities.Coach Asset RM and Business Development RM teams on latest productsConduct Market and Product update calls for Asset RMs and Business Development RMs on regular basisClient Calls (along with RMs) to educate provide details and source investment in these productsRegular interaction with the product providers for product updates, market feedback etc and internally communicate the same.Net large client growth (clients >50 lacs INR Assets)Product Activation – PMS / AIFTechnical Behavioural CompetenciesExcellent knowledge about the diverse investment products and well updated with the market informationAbility to co-ordinate with different teamsStrong analytical skills to interpret business informationStrong communication C written skillsFluency in local language is an added advantageExcellent interpersonal skills and team management skillsShould be a good team leaderHighly self –motivatedWillingness to learn and adaptSpecific Qualifications (if required)Graduate / Postgraduate or an MBARelevant NISM and other Certifications7 years plus work experience in the financial services industry
