Sales Business Development Manager Insurance

- New Business Acquisition: Develop and implement strategies to acquire new clients and expand the business.
- Identify and target untapped market segments for life insurance solutions.
- Channel Development: Establish and manage relationships with channel partners, agents, and brokers. Train and motivate partners to drive sales performance.
- Sales Strategy: Create and execute sales plans to achieve business targets. Monitor sales metrics and performance to meet or exceed goals.
- Market Intelligence: Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities. Provide feedback to product teams for market-aligned solutions.
- Leadership & Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of Relationship Managers or Sales Executives. Foster a high-performance culture within the team.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory norms. Prepare and submit periodic reports on sales activities and achievements.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Strategic thinker with excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of life insurance products and sales processes.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 3-5 years of experience in sales and business development, preferably in life insurance.
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
