Position: Bid Manager

Location: Bangalore, India (Hybrid)

Overview:

The Bid Manager leads the proposal development process for large and strategic opportunities in digital engineering consulting. This role ensures that all client bids are compelling, complaint, and aligned with both client expectations and company capabilities. The Bid Manager brings together cross-functional teams to design winning strategies and execute high-quality proposals under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end bid process from RFP/RFI analysis to submission, ensuring timelines, quality, and compliance.
  • Lead bid strategy sessions to define win themes, competitive differentiators, and solution narratives.
  • Work closely with Sales, Solution Architects, Delivery, Finance, Legal, and Marketing to compile all components of the proposal.
  • Create engaging, persuasive proposal documents and presentations tailored to the client's industry, challenges, and expectations.
  • Oversee risk and pricing considerations, aligning commercial terms with delivery feasibility.
  • Develop reusable content, templates, and knowledge management systems to improve bid efficiency.
  • Conduct post-bid reviews and analysis to identify lessons learned and continuously improve the bid process.
  • Support oral presentations and clarification sessions when required.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in bid management or proposal writing in digital, IT, or engineering consulting environments.
  • Strong project management and coordination skills; ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to translate technical solutions into compelling business value.
  • Understanding of public and private sector procurement processes, especially in international contexts.
  • Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset and strong collaboration abilities.
