Job Summary:

The Corporate Relations & Industry Outreach Executive will play a key role in establishing and maintaining corporate partnerships, sourcing job opportunities, and

enhancing industry engagement for BCA, MCA, and Engineering students. This role

demands a well-connected professional with strong ties to IT and engineering companies, capable of identifying recruitment trends, building employer networks, and securing

placement opportunities for students.

Key Responsibilities:

Corporate Relations & Opportunity Sourcing:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with IT and engineering companies to create job and internship opportunities for students.
  • Identify hiring trends and source placement opportunities that align with the skills and competencies of BCA, MCA, and Engineering students.
  • Act as a liaison between industry and academia, ensuring alignment between employer needs and student capabilities.
  • Generate leads through networking, corporate visits, outreach, industry events, and alumni connections.

Marketing & Branding for Placements:

  • Promote NSHM Knowledge Campus as a preferred hiring destination for IT and engineering firms.
  • Represent the institution in corporate meetings, job fairs, and industry events to strengthen industry connections.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create placement brochures, digital campaigns, and employer engagement strategies.

Coordination &Travel (As Required):

  • Work remotely from Kolkata but be available to travel to Durgapur campus when required for placement-related meetings, student engagement, or corporate visits.
  • Support on-campus and virtual placement drives, ensuring seamless coordination between recruiters and students.
    • Work closely with the placement and training team to ensure students meet employer expectations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, HR, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in corporate relations, business development, campus hiring, or placement coordination.
  • Strong network in IT and engineering companies with proven ability to source job opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, , CRM tools, and digital outreach methods.
  • Self-motivated, result-driven, and willing to travel when required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in B2B corporate engagement, recruitment, or talent acquisition.
  • Knowledge of hiring trends in the IT and engineering sectors.
