The role involves providing advanced technical support to employees, ensuring smooth daily operations of internal IT systems, and maintaining high uptime for hardware, software, and network services. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, collaborative, and capable of resolving complex technical issues with minimal supervision.Primary SkillsStrong experience in desktop and system support across Windows, macOS, and mobile environmentsProficient in troubleshooting hardware/software issues on laptops, desktops, tablets, smartphones, servers, and network devicesKnowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft 365, VPNs, endpoint management, and backup systemsExperience handling incident management, escalations, and service requestsAbility to perform updates, upgrades, installations, and repairsSecondary SkillsBasic understanding of LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN configurationsExperience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or JiraFamiliarity with remote desktop and collaboration tools (Teams, Zoom, etc.)Exposure to server or network troubleshooting when on-site resources are unavailableQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience5–7 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or desktop engineeringExcellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentResponsibilitiesProvide technical support to employees for internal systems, applications, and devicesTroubleshoot and resolve complex or escalated incidents related to hardware, software, and connectivityManage Helpdesk tickets, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely resolutionInstall, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and peripheral devicesAct as the liaison between IT and business teams, ensuring smooth communication and service deliveryMaintain documentation and training material for supported systems and toolsConduct end-user training and promote IT best practicesAssist with server and network issues or installations when requiredIdeal CandidateA dependable, detail-oriented IT professional with a passion for delivering high-quality supportStrong communication and customer-handling skillsProactive, adaptable, and able to work effectively in hybrid and global team environmentsCommitted to maintaining operational excellence and continuous improvementOur client is a Fortune 500 global technology leader, consistently recognized as one of the best companies to work for worldwide.
