This is what #LifeAtBNY isall about.We’reseeking a future team member for the role of VicePresident, Full-Stack Engineer I to join ourEngineering team. This role is located in Pune - MHHYBRID.
In this role, you’ll makean impact in the followingways:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or arelated discipline, or equivalent work experiencerequired.
- 9 to 15 years of experience insoftware development required – proficiency in Java 8 or higher andFront-End UI Technologies.
- Experience ofworking in UI tool sets & programming languages – CoreJavaScript,
Angular 11 or higher, JavaScriptframeworks, CSS, HTML. - Experience inSpring Framework, Hibernate and proficiency with SpringBoot.
- Extensive hands-on knowledge of XML,XSD, XSLT and JSON.
- Strong knowledge of DSA,Design patterns and system architecture.
- Solidcoding and troubleshooting experience on Web Services and RESTfulAPI.
- Strong SQL skills to work on Relationaland NoSQL databases Like MongoDB.
- Strongexperience in SDLC, DevOps processes – CI/CD tools, Git,etc.
- Experience & Good Understandingof Messaging frameworks like ActiveMQ or IBM MQ orKafka.
- Good understanding of monitoring toolssuch as AppDynamics, Splunk, Moogsoft.
- Knowledge of Scrum and Agile methodologies and ability towork in a fast paced and rapidly changingenvironment.
- Strong analyticalskills and attention to detail.
- Ability tolearn and pick up new skills and to perform with minimal managementsupervision.
- Strong CommunicationSkills.
To besuccessful in this role, we’re seeking thefollowing:
- Knowledge in data warehousing / data lakes / pipelines isa big plus.
- Knowledge in NoSQL databases likeMongoDB is preferred
- Knowledge in cloudtechnologies will be a strong advantage.
- Experience in the securities or financial servicesindustry is a plus.
- Should enjoy quickprototyping, implementing cloud-ready services, building tools toimprove end to end application – develop a strong connect with allstakeholders and testing team
- Experienceof working in services tool sets & programming languages –Node, GraphQL, Hazelcast
- Providesuperior software development services in a fast-paced andinnovative working environment.
- Work with internal business groups on implementationopportunities, challenges, and requirements.
- Analyze information and provide recommendations toaddress and resolve business and technical issues. Activelyparticipate in team discussions, provide guidance and expertopinion on the subject matter.
- Coordinate coding, unit testing, implementation anddocumentation of solution.
- Ensurethat expected application performance levels areachieved.
- Comply with BNY standarddevelopment methodology
- Mayallocate/ coordinate work within ateam/project.
