About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned and forward-thinking Senior Director of IT to lead our technology function across infrastructure, networks, and customer IT environments. This executive-level role will oversee all aspects of IT service delivery, infrastructure modernization, cybersecurity, and client-facing IT operations. The ideal candidate brings over 20 years of deep technical experience coupled with strong business acumen and the ability to influence leadership and enterprise strategy.

Qualifications
- 15+ years of progressive experience in IT leadership, including at least 5 years in a senior executive or director-level role.
- Proven experience managing large-scale IT infrastructure, networks, and cloud operations.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and collaborate with C-level stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success in leading IT strategy, digital transformation, and client-facing technology engagements.
- Expertise across multiple IT domains including networking, cybersecurity, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), DevOps, and enterprise IT.
- Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and team leadership skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master's preferred).
Preferred Certifications
ITIL, CISSP, PMP, AWS/Azure/GCP Architect, or similar industry certifications.
Responsibilities:
- Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and trends to identify opportunities for value creation.
- Lead POCs and technology assessments to support digital transformation and long-term growth.
- Champion initiatives around AI, automation, cloud-native technologies, and IT service evolution.
- Build and mentor a high-performing IT organization; lead distributed technical teams and external partners.
- Establish KPIs and drive performance accountability.
- Manage key technology vendors and service providers to ensure delivery excellence and cost-effectiveness.
- Establish and enforce enterprise-grade security policies and practices.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO).
- Mitigate operational risks through proactive monitoring and contingency planning.
- Lead design, deployment, and management of secure and scalable infrastructure, including cloud and on-prem environments.
- Ensure robust network operations and business continuity frameworks are in place and regularly tested.
- Drive IT modernization initiatives including automation, observability, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Oversee delivery and performance of client IT environments, ensuring high availability, security, and responsiveness.
- Serve as the escalation point for complex client needs, infrastructure issues, or technical challenges.
- Ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing IT support for enterprise customers.
- Define and execute a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Partner with executive leadership to shape technology roadmaps that drive operational excellence and innovation.
- Act as a technology advisor to both internal and external stakeholders.
