Senior Business Analyst – Job DescriptionRole OverviewLead problem-solving, data analysis, business insights, and decision support for cross-functional teams.Act as a strategic partner to product, technology, sales, partnerships, and leadership.Convert business challenges into structured analysis, models, dashboards, and actionable recommendations.Key ResponsibilitiesGather, analyze and translate business requirements into functional specs, workflows, and solution blueprints.Build analytical models for forecasting, revenue tracking, cost optimization, and operational efficiency.Deep-dive into datasets to identify patterns, insights, and opportunities for business improvement.Create dashboards, automated reports, and data visualizations for leadership and cross-functional teams.Conduct root-cause analysis and provide data-backed recommendations.Collaborate with product & engineering to define features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and priorities.Support GTM, revenue, partnerships, and performance teams with insights & competitive analysis.Document processes, business rules, and system integrations in a structured format.Drive alignment through clear communication between business, tech, and leadership stakeholders.Track KPIs across operations, product adoption, events, or revenue flows (as per business unit).Required Skills & Experience4–8+ years of experience as Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Strategy Analyst, or Data Analyst.Strong analytical skills with expertise in Excel/Sheets, SQL, visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).Experience mapping workflows, writing BRDs/FRDs, user stories, and process documents.Strong understanding of tech product environments, SaaS models, or GCC/enterprise workflows.Ability to translate complex business problems into structured, data-driven recommendations.Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and structured approach.Preferred QualificationsExperience with CRM + ATS + ERP systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, Jira, Asana).Understanding of AI, analytics, user-experience metrics, or customer journey analysis.Exposure to consulting, strategy, or industry research roles.Ability to work with cross-functional teams in high-velocity environments.Experience in building automated dashboards and real-time reporting systems.What Success Looks LikeClarity in decision-making enabled through accurate, timely insights.Operational efficiency improvements driven by data and process optimization.Better product decisions supported by structured analysis & user insights.Strong alignment across business, tech, events, and leadership teams.Predictable and measurable improvements in KPIs across functions.Why JoinWork directly with leadership and decision-makers.High-impact role influencing product, revenue, operations, and strategy.Opportunity to create frameworks, dashboards, and insights at scale.Fast-paced environment with ownership, visibility, and growth.
