JOB DESCRIPTION: PROCESS AND CHEMICAL PRE-SALES LEAD

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the pre-sales process for process and chemical manufacturing opportunities, including solution development, proposal creation, and presentations to clients.
  • Collaborate with sales, engineering, and product teams to understand customer requirements and develop customized solutions that address their manufacturing challenges.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay informed about industry trends and developments.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within target accounts.
  • Lead and mentor a team of pre-sales professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of pre-sales activities.
  • Assist in the development of sales strategies and tactics to drive revenue growth within the process and chemical manufacturing sector.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop collateral, case studies, and other materials to support pre-sales activities.

Required Experience:

  • 17+ years of experience in a pre-sales or technical sales role within the process and chemical manufacturing industry.
  • Strong technical background with a deep understanding of process and chemical manufacturing technologies and solutions.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading pre-sales efforts and winning new business in the process and chemical manufacturing sector.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience leading and mentoring a team of pre-sales professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
  • Exposure to global market. (USA/Canada)
