Sales Manager (Packaging Films - MLLDPE, LLDPE, LDPE, HDPE, BOPP, Laminates & Holographic etc.)

Purpose:

You will be responsible for managing and growing the sales of Flexible Packaging Films and engage with the Senior Management Team to develop and implement sales strategies that we achieve and exceed budgeted levels of sales growth in all service lines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Achievement of sales, profit, and strategic objectives for the business unit supported.

- Accountable for the on-time implementation of export organization and performance objectives.

- Achievement of strategic objectives defined for the product.

- CRM

- Engaging and proposing the development of new marketing propositions.

- Proactively identifies opportunities for sales process improvement.

- Must ensure that the receivable management is effective and there is an efficient credit policy that increases the efficiency of an organization.

- Facilitates an organization of continuous process improvement.

- To work closely with the Operations Team to ensure successful smooth delivery of client services.

- Ensure quality control of all sales output pertaining to customer acquisition and service delivery.

- Establish and monitor performance reporting systems.

- Coordinates sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes used within the sales organization. Proactively monitors and strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales organization's planning efforts. As needed, coordinates planning activities with other functions and stakeholders within the firm.

- Implements enabling technologies, including CRM, to field sales teams. Monitors the assigned sales organization's compliance with required standards for maintaining CRM data.

- Builds peer support and strong internal-company relationships with other key management personnel.

- To regularly report achievements versus budget forecasts to the Senior Management Team.

- To manage the Market Excellence/Intelligence process; gathering market and customer information and providing feedback on future trends, to support sales campaigns.

Qualification And Experience:

1. MBA with 6 to 10 years hands on experience in selling Packaging Films (MLLDPE, LLDPE, LDPE, HDPE, BOPP, Laminates & Holographic etc) & independently led the business for a minimum of five years.

2. Strong technical understanding of Packaging Films materials and solutions.

3. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

4. Techno commercial capability.

5. Excellent sales and negotiation skills.

6. Strategy Development & planning.

7. Pre-costing / value engineering and pricing capability to deliver bottom line committed to the management.

8. The ability to inspire, motivate and lead a team.

9. Go getter rather than strategist.

10. Excellent communication and 'people skills' and leadership quality.

11. Good planning and organizational skills.

12. Good IT, budget and report writing skills.

13. Experience of working in an ERP environment.
