Responsibilities :

- Ensuring 100% compliance in all the Branches & Head offices of the Organization under all the applicable various Labour Laws (S&E Act, social security Acts including Provident Fund, Bonus Act, Gratuity, LWF, Apprenticeship, Minimum wages, POSH etc.)

- Enhancing employee awareness of COC and other corporate governance polices

- Complying with the statutory provisions of employment laws and accordingly aligning the organization's policies and processes.

- Understanding and analyzing the labour notices, drafting appropriate responses and ensuring timely closure of such notices.

- Assessment & Interpretation of Labour Law amendments and their impact on business in collaboration with Legal Team

- Deciding and recommending process change in consultation with various stakeholders.

- Handling various Internal and external Audits wrt Compliance.

- Conduct periodic internal reviews to ensure that compliance procedures are followed

- Preparation of monthly report on compliance status of applicable statutes for internal circulation

- Deal with bank, police and other notices in collaboration with legal

- Work along with compliance team & vendor to ensure timely filing of returns and challans as prescribed under statutes

- Preparation of annual holiday calendar for PAN India Locations in compliance with state notifications

- Proactive preparation w.r.t labour codes and related emerging changes

- Develop & Execute SOPs and related documents for various processes and procedures

- Coordinate with various stakeholders (Legal, Compliance) for organization-wide governance and compliance of POSH policy/ guideline and regulations

Required Skills/Abilities :

- Detailed understanding of various labour laws applicable in various States of India, both State and Central legislations, for implementation and adherence

- Hands-on experience of representation

- At tribunals for deposition

- At offices of enforcement agencies as authorized representative

- Detailed understanding of Disciplinary procedure and enquiries

- Strong knowledge of HR policies & procedures

- Great verbal and written communications skills

- Meticulous attention to detail, quality, and follow-through; strong interpersonal skills

- Strong problem-solving, negotiation & influencing skills

Educational Qualification and Work Experience :

- Bachelor's degree in labour relations/ LLB, business management or human resources

-10-12 years of Experience in labour statutory legislation compliances and adherences
