About the Job – Candidates should be able to understand business requirement, write/review user stories for analytical application, map out exact functional requirements in close collaboration with IT partners using an agile product backlog framework.

Location – Mumbai - Powai


Job Summary:


A business analyst is responsible for analyzing and understanding the business needs and objectives of an organization and documenting the solutions that will enable the organization to achieve its goals. Responsible for organizing and coordinating various activities and processes within an organization to ensure that they are executed efficiently and effectively.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders and understanding their business needs and goals.
  • Conducting research and gathering data to analyze business problems and identify opportunities for improvement. Analyzing and documenting business requirements, processes, and workflows.
  • Coordinating and scheduling meetings, events, and appointments. Maintaining calendars and schedules for key stakeholders. Managing communication between teams and stakeholders.
  • Creating business cases and project plans to guide the development of solutions. Managing project documentation and ensuring that it is up-to-date and accessible. Collaborating with development teams to ensure that solutions meet business requirements.
  • Monitoring project progress and providing regular updates to stakeholders. Ensuring that project timelines and deliverables are met.
  • Communicating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure that everyone is aligned on project objectives.
  • Testing and validating solutions to ensure they meet business needs.
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of solutions and making recommendations for continuous improvement. Providing training and support to end-users, Identifying, and resolving issues and risks that may impact project success.
  • Providing administrative support to teams and stakeholders as needed. Facilitating team collaboration and ensuring that everyone is working towards a common goal.
  • Tracking project expenses and ensuring that they stay within budget.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, and/or strong business operation management experience.
  • MBA or equivalent master's degree preferred
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in Business Analyst role, Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Proven track record of using tools to capture and communicate complex ideas (including Microsoft PowerPoint, Project, and Azure DevOps or similar)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Prior experience in data or digital change projects
