JOB DESCRIPTIONPurpose Statement:The primary focus of this position is to work closely with customers to understand their detailed functional requirements and then publish detailed functional specifications that are used by external 3rd party vendors. You will need to work closely with many key stakeholders, both internally and within the customer organization to gain agreement on the functionality to be delivered in line with the requirements. The role is pivotal to the fulfilment and successful delivery of Professional Services project.Context/Environment:Organization is looking for a Business Analyst to work with customers to capture detailed requirements as part of projects that we deliver within the Professional Services organization. The customers and size of projects are varied from existing customer ‘business as usual’ project enhancements or new customers wanting to work with organization to deliver fully managed service.

You will be required to engage with functional/operational business owners and clients to ensure that documentation is designed, written and maintained for all levels of users. The candidate will provide clarity and direction on all Business Processes and facilitate best practice. The candidate will have will also require knowledge in audit & compliance requirements in line with achieving the desired business outcomes.Main Responsibilities:Working closely with the Professional Services project delivery team to develop an understanding of the detailed functional requirements in line with the project timelines, scope of work, and business requirements agreed with the customer.Understanding of the constraints of the overall technical solution in terms of non-functional requirements, commercial impact, and compliance restrictions/requirements.Collaborating with the wider organization to ensure functionality is aligned to the expectations agreed with the customer and understanding the overall organizational impact.Provide detailed documentation that is pivotal to the successful development of the application functionality. This includes detailed process flows and agreeing the content of the output displayed to customers, the operators, and electronic journals/logs in line with the agreed functionality to be delivered and audit requirements.Working closely with internal and external developers to agree the detailed process flows, outcomes and output based on the requirements, scope, and other constraints such as compliance.Agree format and structure for all documentation created based on standards agreed with the development teams and the customer.Storage, management and maintaining version control of all documentation in an agreed central repository. This will require use of tools such Teams, Visio, Jira, and Confluence.Revise and/or create documentation, ensuring all documentation is provided in a consistent. format/structure, presented in an easily digestible format and are readily available to all users.Pilot/road test documentation with end users to ensure the content is fit for purpose.Identify and manage issues and risks throughout the project engagement.Support new requirements/changes with 'as is' and 'to be' documentation.PERSON SPECIFICATIONEssential:5yrs + in a previous Business Analyst role working with ‘Tier 1’ companies in the Finance and Retail Banking sector.Track record of delivery and versatility and providing evidence of individual contributions in the successful delivery of projectsExtensive experience in detailed functional specification documentation writing and maintenance based on customers’ business requirements.Previous working experience as a Business Analyst in the sector of ‘automated cash’ (ATM’s) and associated cash management processes.Understanding of the relevant banking industry compliance requirements such as EMV, Mastercard/Visa and PCI.Outstanding communication and presentation skills.Ability to work with a wide range of people in a team (internal and external 3rd parties) to achieve the desired outcomes.Flexibility to meet changing project workload demands and deadlines including critical milestones.Advanced level user of MS Office applications, i.e. Word, Excel, Visio, Teams.

Desirable:Experience in using Jira and ConfluenceEducated to graduate level or long-term relevant, proven and successful industry experience.Experience in a managed services delivery environment and knowledge of the associated solution architectures.A level of commercial acumen and pro-activeness with the ability and willingness to take the initiative.Proven experience writing technical documents, user guides and ad-hoc documents including the version control and management responsibility of all documentation.Cultural agility, ability to multitask with a strong execution and delivery focus.Team player who brings a sense of positive energy and the ability to influence, inspire and motivate stakeholder groups across the organization.Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization internally and externally.Strong sense of ownership and accountability.Demonstrable analytical skills.Highly organized and attentive to detail.
