External Description -

We are looking for an India based Business Development Associate to join Consero’s growing PE/VC business development team. The PE/VC team works closely with Consero’s sales execution and delivery assessment teams and is primarily responsible for generating new business, as well as growing existing PE relationships.

Job Description

· Relentlessly research / seek out new potential accounts / individual buyers and enter in SF / Apollo to generate dialogue on Consero Finance as a Service and tee up meetings for Dir of PE

· Prospect via emails, LI and other methods at volume (targets TBD) with the daily direction of the Dir of PE

· Work in collaboration with Director of PE/VC to ensure qualified leads convert into new PE referral sources and clients

· Schedule introductory meetings for qualified prospects


Director Management/Engagement:

· Interview, hire, coach, motivate and hold SDR to high standards of professionalism and activity output

· Work cross-functionally with PE Managing Director, marketing, product, and other internal teams to consistently iterate Conseros external messaging

· Ideate and prioritize lead generation campaigns for the SDR (e.g. Tech company CFO outreach, C PE Firm Operating Partner Outreach, etc.)

· Define a meeting target for the SDR

· Define a development plan for SDR and what success looks like for the SDR, accelerating ramp time and productivity

· Daily 1:1 to track progress to goal and make recommendations for improvement in the areas of Process, Efficiency and Productivity

· Leverage SmartSheet to track SDR Personal task management and assignment

Preferred Qualifications:

· An interest in a commercial facing relationship / career in sales.

· Interest in the PE/VC ecosystem

· An ability and interest to relentlessly research triggers (CFO hires, controller hires, new deals in the market, PE/VC firms)

· Excellent persuasive writing skills

· Effective interpersonal skills and a creative problem-solving approach
