Title: College Director (CD)
Reports to: Vice President (VP)
Job purpose:
·Provide leadership to the College management team and responsibility for all aspects of College Operations.
General Management
1. Provide overall leadership and direction to all staff in the College.
2. Responsible for meeting sales and marketing targets, operating profit before tax target and other given KPIs by the VP.
3. Establish clear and quantifiable work year objectives for the management team and review annually.
4. Implement and review all policies stipulated in the College Policy Manual.
5. Ensure compliance with all procedures stipulated in the College Operations Manual.
Sales and Marketing
1. Monitor the annual and quarterly marketing plan and budget.
2. Establish an appropriate incentive scheme for Education Consultants.
3. Approve all marketing collaterals to ensure compliance with local regulations and College guidelines.
4. Submit Daily Sales and Marketing Report to CEO.
Academic
1. Approve the lecturer deployment plan and teaching resource plan on a quarterly basis.
2. Monitor student attrition rates.
Student and Administration1. Ensure compliance with Group/College Operations Manual procedures for all SAS matters.
2. Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy, completeness and safekeeping of all student and college records.
3. Monitor student’s feedback and resolve grievances, if any.
1. Establish and monitor the annual and quarterly College budget approved by VP.
2. Review the monthly and quarterly Financial Statements and Management Accounts.
3. Ensure compliance with all Finance policies and procedures in the Group Finance Manual.
4. Review quarterly Cash Flow projections.
5. Ensure compliance with Group IT policies.
HR
1. Ensure compliance with all local labour laws such as appointments of staff, contracts, valid work visa etc.
2. Plan for College manpower resources.
3. Review staff appraisal and recommend for promotion, incentive schemes, bonuses and annual increments.
4. Responsible for staff development, team building and retention.
5. Maintain adequate insurance coverage for the staff.
6. Manage all environmental and operational health and safety (EOH&S) matters.
Legal
1. Responsible for securing all operating licenses and permits for the College.
2. Responsible for compliance with all local regulations such as Corporate Governance.
Requirements:
1. An equivalent degree or MBA with a minimum of 5-7 years’ middle management experience.
2. Cross-functional management, good analytical and problem-solving skills.
3. General Management experience with P&L responsibility.
4. Regional or international management experience is preferred.
5. An outgoing and versatile self-starter with strong leadership qualities and good business acumen.
6. The ability to work independently and skills to build an effective team.
7. Excellent communications skills (verbal and written).
