Job Description


We are hiring Network Technical Support Engineers (L2 & L3) for a Technical Assistance Center (TAC) role at our Chennai location. The role requires experienced professionals with strong hands-on expertise in Cisco or Juniper switch troubleshooting. Candidates with knowledge of SoNic will have an added advantage. The position demands excellent communication, analytical, and technical problem-solving skills.


Key Responsibilities

• Provide TAC support for global clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to Cisco or Juniper switches.

• Handle complex technical escalations for L2 and L3 issues with a focus on quick resolution.

• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and document the findings for continuous improvement.

• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors for issue resolution and knowledge sharing.

• Provide timely support during US shifts and manage critical issues during off-hours.

• Contribute to technical documentation, FAQs, and knowledge base articles for future reference.


Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with either Cisco or Juniper switches.

• Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving complex network issues at L2 and L3 levels.

• Prior experience in a TAC support role is preferred.

• Knowledge of SoNic (Software for Open Networking in the Cloud) is a strong advantage.

• Solid understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching concepts.

• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) to interact with global clients.

• Ability to manage critical incidents with composure under pressure.
