Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced E-Commerce Operations Manager with a background in the footwear industry to oversee and optimize our e-commerce platforms, focusing on Shopify, Amazon, and other marketplaces, as well as managing our logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have experience working with footwear brands and possess a passion for delivering seamless operations across digital channels. We need someone proactive, detail-oriented, and adept at managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1- Shopify Management:
- Manage the daily operations of the Shopify store, including product updates, promotions, and website optimization for footwear products.
- Ensure the site functions optimally and improve the user experience with a focus on customer-centricity.
- Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to implement branding updates that resonate with the brand’s ethos.
- Monitor site performance, analyze data, and suggest actionable improvements for better conversion and sales.
2- Amazon/Marketplace Management:
- Oversee product listings, pricing strategies, SEO optimization, and promotions on Amazon and other third-party marketplaces.
- Conduct regular competitor analysis within the footwear industry to ensure products stand out, using our strength in quality and competitive pricing.
- Manage customer feedback, reviews, and maintain a strong seller reputation on all platforms.
3- Logistics & Supply Chain Management:
- Coordinate with logistics partners and warehouses to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of footwear products, maintaining operational efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels and prevent stockouts or overstock situations using best practices in supply chain management.
- Implement systems to improve logistics efficiency while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction and timely deliveries.
4- Customer Experience:
- Maintain high customer satisfaction by ensuring smooth order fulfillment and post-purchase engagement.
- Collaborate with the CRM team to personalize the online experience, ensuring an optimal customer journey.
- Develop and implement abandoned cart recovery strategies and customer follow-ups to improve conversion rates and drive customer loyalty.
5- Data & Analytics:
- Analyze data from Shopify, Amazon, and other platforms to identify trends, sales patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, inventory levels, and logistics efficiency, offering actionable insights.
- Ensure the online store and marketplaces are always optimized to drive maximum sales and operational performance.
6- Cross-Department Collaboration:
- Work closely with marketing, finance, and customer service teams to ensure smooth operations and a cohesive approach across all digital platforms.
- Collaborate with design and branding teams to ensure that brand messaging, visuals, and tone are consistent across all e-commerce channels.
7- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated with industry trends, new marketplace opportunities, and technological advancements in e-commerce and logistics.
- Propose proactive solutions and process improvements to stay ahead of the competition and enhance operational efficiency.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in e-commerce operations with a strong focus on footwear brands and familiarity with Shopify and Amazon marketplaces.
- Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain management within an e-commerce environment.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on cross-department teamwork.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a passion for optimizing user experiences and operational efficiency.
- Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to integrate brand storytelling into customer interactions, enhancing the overall customer experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in e-commerce operations with specific experience in the footwear industry.
- Experience in lifestyle or fashion brands is a plus.
- Familiarity with key e-commerce platforms and tools used in the footwear industry.
- Experience working with Indian suppliers or logistics partners is a bonus.
