Key Responsibilities:


  • Master the Books: Oversee the complete bookkeeping process, managing every ledger entry, reconciliation, and adjustment with precision to ensure accurate financial records that reflect the innovation of our construction projects.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and deliver insightful financial statements that go beyond accuracy. Provide analysis that uncovers key financial trends and supports strategic decision-making for leadership.
  • Audit & Compliance: Lead our compliance with financial, legal, and tax regulations. Ensure we are audit-ready, with all documents and reports meticulously prepared.
  • Accounts Management: Manage accounts payable and receivable with efficiency, ensuring smooth processing of invoices and accurate reconciliation of accounts to maintain seamless cash flow.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with the finance team to develop and monitor budgets and forecasts, enabling departments to optimize performance and align with company goals.
  • Cash Flow Monitoring: Diligently track and analyze cash flow, providing strategic insights to ensure the financial health of the company remains strong and well-positioned for growth.
  • Process Improvement: Drive the modernization of accounting processes, leveraging technology and automation to enhance efficiency and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Software Implementation: Lead the transition to new accounting software, likely Zoho, ensuring smooth implementation, team training, and long-term optimization for future-ready operations.
  • Systems Optimization: Refine and optimize accounting tools and systems to maximize efficiency and support the company’s success.
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and inspire junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to integrate financial processes across the organization, ensuring smooth operational workflows.
  • Ad-Hoc Projects: Tackle special projects with creativity and initiative, delivering innovative solutions that contribute to the company’s success and growth.


What you bring to the Table:


  • Educational Foundation: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field that sets you up for success.
  • Experience & Expertise: 6-8 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role. Experience in a fast-paced or startup environment is a strong advantage.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Tally and Zoho, with advanced Excel skills is a must. Familiarity with automation tools and financial analytics software is a big plus.
  • Leadership Prowess: A proven ability to lead and develop a team, backed by strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Sharp Analytical Mind: A knack for detail and accuracy, coupled with sharp analytical thinking that helps you identify and solve problems effectively.
  • Adaptability: You thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines with ease.
