As an Associate Business Analyst for the Product Team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the product lifecycle, from ideation to execution. Your responsibilities will include gathering and documenting requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing data, and ensuring the successful implementation of product-focused business solutions.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to identify, define, and prioritize business needs related to product development.
  • Assist in gathering and documenting product-specific requirements through interviews, workshops, and research.
  • Document Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM), Product Backlog, BRD, SRS, FRS, Workflow, Use Case Documentation, Screen-Mock-ups, User Manuals, etc.
  • Simplify and translate requirements into actionable deliverables for the development team.
  • Manage requirements throughout the SDLC, ensuring alignment with product goals and managing change requests effectively.
  • Conduct analysis to elicit detailed product requirements and ensure data-driven decision-making.
  • Support the validation and analysis of product data to identify trends, usage patterns, and customer insights.
  • Contribute to product performance reviews by providing meaningful analytics and insights.
  • Work closely with the Product Manager, Business Analysts, and development teams to support the product lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure solutions align with product strategy and meet client expectations.
  • Assist in sprint planning, tracking progress, and reporting on the status of product initiatives.
  • Maintain product documentation, including meeting minutes, action items, and product roadmaps.
  • Assist in organizing and facilitating product-related discussions, workshops, and presentations.
  • Prepare materials and documentation to effectively communicate product progress and updates to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and review deliverables such as Test Plans, Test Cases, and User Acceptance Tests (UAT).
  • Contribute to the refinement of product processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Identify opportunities for improving product delivery and provide suggestions to enhance the overall user experience.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, product standards, and best practices in all deliverables.
  • Maintain data security and confidentiality while handling sensitive product information.
  • Stay updated on product management trends, industry advancements, and best practices.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance skills related to product and business analysis.
  • Collaborate effectively with the product team, development team, and stakeholders across various departments to achieve product goals.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Collaborate with development team to manage client's expectations

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in business analysis, product analysis, or related roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with tools like JIRA or Confluence is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, and agile environment.
  • Familiarity with product management tools and methodologies is an advantage.
