Ansys Speos Material Validation Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated Ansys Speos Material Validation Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of material data used in optical simulations conducted with Ansys Speos. Your primary focus will be on gathering material data from suppliers, replicating lab setups in Speos, and validating simulation outputs against lab measurements. You will also be tasked with generating Speos Material files, Lab Test Correlation reports, and Simulated Images based on the provided material data.


Responsibilities:

  • Regularly collect material data from suppliers in an organized manner.
  • Utilize Ansys Speos to replicate laboratory setups, ensuring the validation of material laboratory measurement data against simulation outputs.
  • Based on the material data furnished by the vendor, produce the following:

1. Material file

2. Test Correlation report

3. Simulated Image

  • Comprehensive documentation of material validation processes, results, and any updates made to the material database.



Requirements:

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Ansys Speos is a must.
  • Experience in the application of optical measurement methodologies, coupled with comprehensive proficiency in the analysis of resultant data.
  • Background in Engineering is preferable
  • Strong analytical capabilities to meticulously analyze material data and correlate it with simulation results.
  • Excellent documentation skills to maintain detailed records of updates made to material catalog data.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with material suppliers, Ansys Speos development team, and Ansys Customer Excellence (ACE)
