This candidate should have strong communication skills which enable them to explain complicated concepts in a simple manner. This individual will also meet with customer representatives frequently in order to understand the required content.

Job responsibilities of a technical writer:

·       Creating technical documentation that translates complex system engineering concepts into clear, concise, and easy-to-understand language for various audiences.

·       Collaborating with engineers and other technical staff to gather and analyze product information and system operations.

·       Writing and maintaining user guides, integration guides, API developer guides, and other forms of documentation to enhance user experience on digital platforms.

·       Conducting in-depth research on industry-related topics to develop original content for blogs, articles, product descriptions, social media, and company websites.

·       Assisting the marketing team in developing content for advertising campaigns and proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies.

·       Preparing, reviewing, revising, and maintaining technical documents, including system operations, testing, and user documentation.


Requirements

·       Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related disciplines.

·       12+ years of proven experience in writing technical documentation in ERP domain

·       Understand and explain complex technical concepts

·       Strong research and analytical skills

·       Ability to undertake multiple projects and deliver on tight deadlines

·       Excellent technical writing skills

·       Excellent verbal communication skills

·       Solid grip on documentation publishing software such as Zendesk Guide, Camtasia, SnagIt, and other software

·       Good working knowledge of MS Office or Google Docs

·       Detail-oriented
