We manufacture High end Embroidered Garments, with pan India distribution. Based out of Tangra, Kolkata.
Job Role - Operations / Systems and Processes Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for key departments: design, production, merchandising, marketing, and client management.
- Implement technology solutions for order tracking, production management, and vendor coordination.
- Set up frameworks to streamline stock and made-to-measure order handling.
- Identify inefficiencies in existing workflows and recommend improvements.
- Introduce lean management principles to improve productivity and reduce errors.
- Create and manage tools for task prioritization, timelines, and performance tracking.
- Train team members on new systems and ensure adherence to SOPs.
- Monitor daily operations to ensure timely execution of all tasks.
- Address bottlenecks and resolve operational challenges proactively.
- Work closely with design, production, and merchandising teams to align processes with company goals.
- Facilitate clear communication channels between teams to ensure smooth workflows.
- Track and analyze operational performance using KPIs and generate reports for management.
- Continuously assess and refine systems for scalability and efficiency.
Requirements:Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
- 5-7 years of experience in operations, process improvement, or system management, preferably in the fashion or garment industry.
- Expertise in process optimization and lean management principles.
- Proficiency in tools like MS Project, Trello, Asana, or similar.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.
- Knowledge of garment production, supply chain management, and quality standards.
- Familiarity with workflows specific to bridal wear or high-end garment production.
- Experience in implementing ERP systems or other production tracking software.
