Job Responsibilities:

Roles and responsibilities:

The Sustainability Head is responsible for Advanced Materials (AM) Sustainability and Regulatory strategy and develop initiatives to support this.

Strategy Development: Leading the development of sustainability and regulatory initiatives to align with organizational goals and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Integration and Advocacy: Ensuring that sustainability, regulatory, and environmental considerations are fully integrated into ABG-AM's operations. Advocating for the green agenda with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive a sustainable future.

Program Management: Planning, developing, managing, and promoting programs and policies related to environmental protection, sustainability, and regulatory compliance. This encompasses areas such as water efficiency, waste management, energy conservation, and greenhouse gas emissions reduction.

Collaboration and Coordination: Coordinating activities across divisions, departments, and external agencies to achieve sustainability goals. Motivating employees through training and guidance to achieve excellence in sustainability practices.

Progress and Guidance: Supporting AM's commitment to sustainability and social responsibility by providing direction on significant environmental issues. Developing standards specific to Advanced Material Business operations to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

Leadership and Recommendation: Leading the delivery of the corporate sustainability program and regulatory compliance. Providing strategic recommendations to AM leadership to enhance sustainability strategies and initiatives.

Unit-Level Initiatives: Designing and implementing standards, policies, and sustainability targets for operating plants. Conducting water, energy, and waste balance assessments.

Training and Development: Creating training programs to educate employees and workers on environmental norms, sustainability practices, and regulatory requirements.

Compliance Knowledge: Maintaining updated knowledge of compliance acts and rules related to environment protection, waste management, and other technical issues.
