Bangalore Urban, India Delhivery Limited Full time

We are looking to hire a strong lead who has proven experience of managing high scale front end applications.

The Candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining these applications as well as coordinating with teams, responsible for other layers of the app infrastructure, integration and testing.


Responsibilities


1. Manages a team of front end developers (4-5 team members).

2. Develop and maintain high-quality React Native applications for both iOS and Android platforms.

3. Build pixel-perfect, smooth UIs across mobile platforms and Interface with designers to convert wireframes into good usable and responsive web interfaces.

4. Must have a detail-oriented mindset to carefully review code and ensure consistency across the application.

5. Provide task estimates and produce high quality testable correct code that adheres to coding guidelines/standards and follows best practices

6. Own the development, automation and rollout for the team’s mobile applications

7. Leverage React Native APIs wherever needed for deep integrations with both platforms.

8. Write unit and integration tests.

9. Diagnose, profile, improve and fix issues and performance bottlenecks.

10. Release applications and updates via needed automation tools, Apple and Google Play stores. 11. Upgrading React, React Native, Android, iOS toolchain/sdk version and handle breaking changes when necessary.

12. Build automation driven releases.

13. Learn new technologies and find ways they could be used appropriately.

14. Mentor team of engineers and define their growth path.


Qualifications


1. 6+ years of relevant work experience with 4+ years of hands-on demonstrable experience in building large scalable mobile apps

2. B.Tech/BE in Computer Science or related field or equivalent demonstrable experience

3. Proven experience as a React and React Native Developers and firm grasp of JavaScript.

4. Knowledge of native build tools like Xcode, Android Studio, and Gradle.

5. Hands-on experience of setting up new projects from scratch and taking them live.

6. Good understanding of network connections, Rest API's and scheduling.

7. Experience in setting up automated systems for build, testing and deployment to the cloud (Github/CI-CD tools).

8. English skills (ability to effectively communicate via written and spoken english).

9. Strong in stakeholder management.

10. Experience with Geolocation tech stack (maps, eta, tracking).

11. Experience with Payment Gateway Integrations
