Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Recruiting Lead to join our team in Chennai, India. The ideal candidate will mentor new recruiters, manage onboarding tasks, assist recruiters when needed, and create a mentor program. This role involves working closely with the TA Recruiter to build and operate a strong offshore recruiting team, fine-tune the recruiting process, and contribute to the overall success of the recruitment function.
Responsibilities
- Mentor new hire recruiters for the first few months, focusing on those needing additional support.
- Complete the checklist of tasks for first-day onboarding, including welcome calls, training on technology, reporting, subscriptions, etc.
- Assist recruiters when they are falling short by observing their work or having them shadow the Recruiting Lead.
- Create and implement a mentor program for recruiters, ensuring successful completion.
- Utilize knowledge of the Chennai recruiting market to refer candidates and identify target companies.
- Collaborate with the TA Recruiter to manage the recruiting pipeline and support new hire recruiters.
Must Haves
- Proven experience in agency recruiting, specifically W2 US IT recruiting against an MSP or VMS
- Strong understanding of the recruiting landscape in Chennai, including key companies to target or avoid.
- Excellent mentoring and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage onboarding tasks and create effective training programs.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
