Position Objective: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT & Data Manager to oversee and manage our company’s technology infrastructure. The IT Manager will ensure that our computer systems, networks, software, and hardware are functioning efficiently and securely.

Job Skills -

  1. Maintain essential IT infrastructure, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware
  2. Track and maintain hardware and software inventory.
  3. Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems administration.
  4. Expertise in implementing, configuring, and testing IT infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage IT Infrastructure:

  • Oversee and maintain all hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Ensure all company computers, and network devices are up to date and working efficiently.
  • Troubleshoot and fix any hardware or software issues that arise.

Provide Technical Support:

  • Act as the first point of contact for employees needing technical assistance.
  • Resolve technical problems related to computer systems, applications, and networks.
  • Provide guidance and support for using company-approved software.

Ensure Network Security:

  • Monitor and manage the company’s network to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Install and update security software (e.g., firewalls, antivirus programs).
  • Regularly review security protocols to protect company data from breaches.

Manage Software and System Updates:

  • Install necessary software updates and ensure all systems are up to date.
  • Ensure licenses for all software are current and compliant with legal requirements.

Data Management and Backup:

  • Ensure that all company data is regularly backed up and securely stored.
  • Manage cloud storage solutions or data servers as needed.
  • Develop and enforce policies for data protection and storage.

Vendor and Service Management:

  • Coordinate with external vendors for purchasing hardware or software.
  • Manage contracts with technology service providers and ensure services are delivered on time.
  • Work with service providers for internet, email, CCTV and phone systems.

Plan and Implement IT Projects:

  • Assist in planning and implementing new IT solutions that support business operations.
  • Evaluate and recommend technology upgrades or new systems that can improve productivity.
  • Manage the budget for IT-related expenses and ensure cost-effective solutions.

Staff Training and IT Policies:

  • Train employees on new technology and ensure proper use of IT systems.
  • Develop and enforce IT policies regarding the use of technology, internet security, and data management.
