Shyft is launching a range of products in the health & wellness space and is looking for an ambitious & growth-oriented individual to join this initiative
As part of the NPD team, you will play an integral role in launching Shyft’s first range of innovative health & wellness products. You will collaborate with teams internally and externally, to bring new products to market, and will be responsible for owning relationships with key stakeholders in the product supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the progress, timelines, and budgets for new product development initiatives.
- Cross-functional collaboration with marketing, ops and finance to ensure launch objectives are being met
- Working with labs and suppliers, providing detailed product briefs and managing the product development up to launch.
- Own & leverage relationships with key stakeholders in manufacturing, logistics, warehousing and packaging to ensure timely product development and launch.
- Ensuring Quality Compliance by checking all product batches, and making sure they are within specifications.
Qualifications:
- At least 4 or more years of corporate experience
- Exhibited experience in self-starter roles with minimal supervision
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for innovation and product excellence
- Experience in product development supply chain within the health and wellness industry, especially in dietary supplements, functional foods, or healthy snacks will be preferred.
