Responsibilities/core tasks:


CRO Specialist:


· User research: Together with the CRO team you will be doing research into customer behavior. You will translate the insights of the research into new experiments which fit the customers’ needs the best


· Leading experiments: You will be in the lead of experiments/ideas from A to Z. Which means that you are responsible for the outcomes and therefore you focus on:

o Describing Ideas are properly

o Make sure designs match our wishes

o Quality of the experiment builds

o Live monitoring of experiments

o Analysis of experiment results


· CRO process: At vidaXL the experimenting culture is growing more and more. As a result, more teams are willing to do Abtests. The changing culture goes hand in hand with changes in the CRO process because we need to make the process accessible/usable for all the different teams. You will help the CRO team to improve this process by automating steps, creating dashboards/interfaces, and optimizing documentation fields.


· Communication with stakeholders: As the lead of experiments, you will also maintain contact with the stakeholders of experiments, to keep them up to date about the progress of the test and to inform them what the test results and follow-up actions are.


Key challenge:

· Resources for testing: For creating Abtests we depend on other teams (UX designers and freelance developers), because we don’t have these skills within the team.

· Planning tests: Due to the dependencies on other teams it’s hard to make a tight schedule of when experiments will be live. This, while stakeholders will inquire about ETA frequently.

Development capacities: Rolling out Abtests is a challenge, because for this we depend on our development team. Therefore, it sometimes takes a while before you will be able to see successful tests live on the webshop.
