Delhivery is leading India’s digital commerce enablement, we use technology to drive supply chain innovation. We are building an next-gen Operating System (OS1) for the logistics and supply chain industry. As part of this broader vision, the OS1 foundational platform team wants to make it easier for the logistics and supply chain developers to bring useful apps and solutions to their end customers.


This is an excellent opportunity for someone familiar with APIs, Services, SDKs, application development, and developer ecosystem. This role is a blend of content development, project management, and stakeholder management. You will own the content management for the knowledge base, coordinating new content to correspond with release management and development teams.


As an Lead Technical Writer you will: ● Work with engineering/product teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the Services and platform in general. ● Produce high-quality, meaningful, and useful developer guides for the app developers. ● Create walkthroughs, getting started docs, sample codes, & troubleshooting guides for the developers. ● Manage external API References, Postman collection and Changelog. ● Create tutorials & How-tos to help end-users of the apps. ● Keep a tab on the emerging documentation and content technologies and drive necessary changes.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS ● 8+ years as a writer (technical products) ● 4+ years documenting for developer platform (Services, APIs, SDKs, Postman) ● Experience crafting code samples ● Passion to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment ● Excellent communication skills ● Experience working directly with multiple cross functional teams such as product management, UX, Software development, program management, and others Preferred Qualifications ● Experience working on a SaaS or PaaS product ● You have experience writing about large-scale web services (knowledge of the various pieces of interacting technologies behind platforms) ● You have written big picture overviews about complex platform.
