Job Description:

As a Technical Writer at our generative AI startup, you will play a critical role in creating clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation for our products. You will work closely with our engineering, product, and marketing teams to produce high-quality technical content that helps users understand and leverage our AI solutions. Your work will directly contribute to the usability and adoption of our products.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Product Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed product documentation, including technical specifications, architecture overviews, and system requirements.
  • User Guides: Write clear and user-friendly guides, tutorials, and manuals to help users effectively utilize our AI products.
  • Technical Documentation: Create and manage API documentation, SDK guides, and integration instructions for developers and technical stakeholders.
  • Content Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information, clarify technical details, and ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation.
  • Review and Edit: Edit and proofread content created by other team members to ensure consistency, clarity, and quality.
  • Version Control: Manage documentation updates and revisions to keep pace with product changes and new releases.
  • Feedback Integration : Incorporate feedback from users and internal teams to continuously improve documentation quality and usability.
  • Knowledge Base Management: Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base, including FAQs, troubleshooting guides, and best practices.


Requirements:


  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in technical writing, preferably within the technology or AI industry.
  • Technical Skills : Familiarity with software development concepts, programming languages, and APIs. Ability to understand and explain complex technical information.
  • Writing Skills: Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Tools: Proficiency in documentation tools such as Confluence, Git, Markdown, and HTML. Experience with version control systems like GitHub or GitLab.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical team members.
  • Adaptability: Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Education: A degree in Technical Writing, Computer Science, English, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.


Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with AI or machine learning technologies.
  • Knowledge of UX/UI principles and how they relate to technical documentation.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
  • Basic understanding of data science concepts and tools.
