You Will:

  • Lead the month-end close process: responsible for general ledger month-end revenue and expense close; process closing journal entries, maintain completeness and accuracy of general ledger and create various account reconciliations.
  • Compile and analyze consolidated financial statements and prepare fluctuation analyses.
  • Lead the intercompany accounting processes, including the allocation of expenses and revenues among subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy and local compliance.
  • Assist with annual financial audits, including preparation of schedules, reconciliations, and other supporting documentation to the external auditors.
  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including customer billing and receivables, accounts payable, employee reimbursements, sales tax management, foreign transaction in accordance with ASC 830, and state/local filings.
  • Assisting with research and preparation of accounting policy and position memos.
  • Process & systems: seek to improve existing systems/processes in areas of responsibility and assist with the selection/implementation of new systems as needed.
  • Participate in special projects or ad-hoc analysis in support of the finance department and company initiatives.


What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification or in process preferred.
  • 7+ years of accounting experience.
  • Global accounting operations experience, India and Nepal is a plus.
  • Excellent technical accounting skills required, including strong knowledge and experience with US GAAP.
  • Understanding of revenue recognition guidance as prescribed under ASC 606 and cost to obtain a contract accounting guidance as prescribed under ASC 340-40 as well as ASC830 Foreign Currency Matters
  • Strong technical proficiency with NetSuite.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights effectively.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Attention to detail and good time management skills.
