SUMMARY
The overall responsibility of the Regional Manager (RM) is to strategize new market outreach plan, identify and evaluate Indian companies looking to expand in the international markets.
The post holder is required to conduct evaluation/business meetings with interested Indian companies at the C.E.O, C.X.O levels and engage in a dialogue explaining the client's geography, tax benefits and incentives with an aim to generate investment leads.
This is to support International Economic Development Agencies (EDAs & EDOs) towards attracting investments in their region.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conducting in person meetings with Indian corporates and conglomerates
- Interact with Indian and overseas companies / consultants via various modes of communication, participating in seminars/ networking events, B2B meetings, to understand their expansion plans.
- Present our client’s geography as a potential business location for company’s international expansion.
- Engage in qualification meetings with Indian companies.
- Evaluate investment attraction opportunities for subject geographies and map the sectoral trends.
- Analyze and formulate the reports from the data/information gathered from interaction and meetings.
- Engage with the client, manage delegation visits, client visits, virtual webinars, investors road shows for client accounts.
- Write proposals, business plan and analysis.
- Set up meetings with CXO level executives of qualified companies.
- Prepare and deliver presentations on research findings and trends on cross border investments, Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) to the clients.
- Interact with overseas clients and provide regular updates through the project.
- Prepare and deliver presentations on client’s geography and proposition to international companies.
- Author reports containing actionable recommendations.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
- Minimum 7-8 years in Business Development/Business Consulting/ Strategy Consulting/Investment Attraction/Economic Development/Market Entry with experience of handling overseas clients.
- In-depth understanding of the macroeconomic environment in India, regulations pertaining to Foreign Direct Investment and key growth sectors of the Indian economy.
- Good understanding of various industries of India.
- Experience of Business Development and sales is a must.
- Experience of initiating and managing client meetings, business development meetings
- Strong industry expertise and networks. Experience of working in overseas markets will be preferred.
- Strong communication skills with fluency in English is must.
- Understanding of Market Entry, Cross Border Investments, Internationalization via International market expansion
- Experience of New Business Development
QUALIFICATIONS
- Masters in fields of Economics, Finance, International Business (other disciplines will be considered where candidates can demonstrate core skills required).
- Demonstrated ability to manage team, collaborate, ideate, engage with clients and work in global teams.
