Overview:
We are a fast-growing digital marketing agency looking for an ambitious and results-driven Sales Executive who will focus on lead generation and sales auditing. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities through strategic outreach and lead qualification, while also ensuring the sales processes are efficient, effective, and aligned with our agency’s objectives. This position requires a blend of sales skills, data analysis, and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation:
Prospecting & Outreach: Use various channels (cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn, social media, and networking) to identify and connect with potential clients in need of digital marketing services (SEO, PPC, social media marketing, web design, etc.).
Lead Qualification: Evaluate and qualify leads to determine if they are a good fit for the agency’s services, ensuring that we pursue high-quality prospects.
Initial Consultations: Schedule meetings and conduct discovery calls with potential clients to assess their marketing needs and introduce our agency’s offerings.
Relationship Building: Cultivate long-term relationships with prospects and clients by providing valuable insights into digital marketing trends and strategies that align with their business goals.
CRM Management: Maintain and update the CRM system with accurate lead information, notes, and follow-up actions, ensuring a clean pipeline and effective lead nurturing.
Campaign Management: Execute targeted lead-generation campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team, utilizing content marketing, webinars, and digital outreach to attract high-quality leads.
Sales Auditing:
Sales Process Analysis: Conduct regular audits of the sales cycle, from lead generation to closing, to ensure that the team is adhering to best practices and following the most effective strategies.
Performance Metrics: Analyze sales performance data, including conversion rates, response times, and customer feedback, to identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the process.
Reporting & Insights: Provide detailed reports and insights on sales performance, lead conversion, and overall sales activities. Share findings with senior management to improve sales strategies and achieve growth targets.
Process Optimization: Recommend improvements to the sales process, including changes to workflows, CRM usage, and lead management practices, to increase conversion rates and sales productivity.
Collaboration & Support:
Team Coordination: Work closely with the marketing team to ensure alignment between lead generation efforts and agency campaigns, and share insights on lead quality and customer feedback.
Client Onboarding: Support the onboarding process for new clients by ensuring smooth transitions between sales and account management teams.
Feedback Loop: Provide valuable feedback to both sales and marketing teams about prospects’ needs, pain points, and objections, helping to refine outreach strategies and messaging.
Qualifications:
Experience: 1+ years of experience in sales or business development, preferably within the digital marketing or technology industry.
Experience with lead generation techniques, including cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn prospecting, and networking.
Familiarity with digital marketing services such as SEO, PPC, social media marketing, content marketing, web design, and other agency services.
Skills: Strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and influence potential clients.
Ability to conduct sales audits and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven recommendations.
Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple leads and projects simultaneously.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
