Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Procurement Manager to oversee the procurement process for all IT-related goods and services within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT systems and services, as well as proven experience in negotiating contracts, managing vendor relationships, and optimizing procurement processes to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate SaaS solutions and cloud services based on features functionality, scalability, and pricing models that align with organizational needs and objectives.
  • Select API services and developer tools that enhance productivity, streamline development processes, and facilitate integration with existing systems.
  • Design and implement procurement strategies for hardware acquisitions, including mobiles, laptops, accessories, electronic devices, and IoT devices.
  • Source and procure messaging, email, IVR, and calling services that meet organizational communication needs. Evaluate service providers based on features, reliability, security, and scalability. Negotiate contracts and service level agreements to ensure optimal service delivery and cost-effectiveness.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with IT vendors and suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
  • Maintain supplier ratings and rankings to inform future procurement decisions and vendor selection processes.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost-effective procurement processes while maintaining quality standards.
  • Assess and mitigate risks associated with IT procurement, including supply chain disruptions, vendor reliability, and compliance issues.
  • Manage the entire contract lifecycle, from drafting and negotiation to execution and renewal, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee IT inventory management processes, including stock levels, asset tracking, and inventory optimization to minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
  • Collaborate with IT and finance teams to develop and manage procurement budgets, track expenses, and provide regular reports on procurement performance.
  • Monitor the quality of IT products and services received from vendors, address any issues or discrepancies, and ensure compliance with organizational standards and specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational procurement policies, procedures, and ethical standards, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the IT procurement team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential vendors, products, and services that align with organizational needs and objectives.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the IT procurement process. Regularly analyze procurement data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Conduct periodic audits and reviews of procurement processes, contracts, and vendor relationships to ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in IT procurement, with a minimum of 4+ years.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT systems, products, and services, as well as the IT procurement process.
  • Strong negotiation, contract management, and vendor management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
