We are seeking a Payroll & Benefits Administrator to manage payroll processing, benefits programs, and compliance activities. In this role, you will ensure accurate and timely compensation for employees, maintain compliance with labor laws, and provide strong support to HR operations.
Role Overview
As a Payroll & Benefits Administrator, you will oversee payroll execution, benefits administration, and related compliance reporting. You will act as the bridge between HR, finance, and employees, ensuring processes run smoothly and transparently. Your work will directly contribute to employee satisfaction, operational compliance, and financial accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Management
- Administer end-to-end payroll processing for all employees.
- Validate timesheets, attendance, and leave records for payroll accuracy.
- Coordinate with finance to ensure timely salary disbursement.
Benefits Administration
- Manage employee benefits programs (health insurance, PF/ESI, retirement plans, reimbursements).
- Support enrollment, changes, and termination of benefits.
- Serve as the primary contact for employee queries on benefits.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (PF, ESI, TDS, gratuity, labor laws).
- Prepare payroll reports, tax filings, and audit documentation.
- Stay updated on labor law changes and recommend process updates.
Employee Support & Coordination
- Address payroll-related concerns promptly and accurately.
- Partner with HR to support onboarding/offboarding payroll activities.
- Collaborate with external vendors for benefits and statutory compliances.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 3+ years of experience in payroll processing, HR operations, or benefits administration.
- Strong understanding of Indian payroll compliance (PF, ESI, TDS, gratuity, etc.).
- Proficiency with HRIS, payroll software, and MS Excel/Google Sheets.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and confidentiality handling.
- Good communication skills for employee and vendor interactions.
