About the Role


We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Manager - Operations to lead and oversee our operational processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and profitability across all functions. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, operational expertise, and a strategic mindset to drive the company’s success in achieving its business objectives.


Key Responsibilities


Operational Strategy and Execution

• Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve business goals and ensure efficient workflows.

• Analyze market trends and industry data to identify opportunities for growth and operational enhancement.


Process and Performance Management

• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring processes are optimized for productivity and quality.

• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational excellence.

• Identify bottlenecks in operations and implement solutions to improve performance and cost-effectiveness.


Team Leadership and Development

• Lead, motivate, and manage cross-functional teams, ensuring collaboration and accountability.

• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to improve individual and team performance.


Compliance and Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and environmental standards.

• Identify potential risks in operations and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard business continuity.

• Implement and monitor health and safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.


Key Qualifications

Educational Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

• MBA or a Master’s degree is preferred.


Experience

• Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

• Proven track record in [Contract Manufacturing, FMCG, etc.].

• Experience in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.


Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of supply chain management, production planning, and quality assurance.

• Proficiency in ERP systems and other operational tools.

• Analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in using data to drive decisions.
