About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Logistics Operations Director to oversee and optimize our end-to-end supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the seamless flow of materials, products, and information to meet business objectives efficiently and cost-effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supply Chain Strategy and Optimization
    • Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives.
    • Optimize supply chain processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance performance.
    • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure business continuity.
  • Procurement and Vendor Management
    • Manage procurement activities, including sourcing, negotiation, and contract management, to secure favorable terms with suppliers.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery of materials.
    • Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations and develop improvement plans where necessary.
  • Inventory Management
    • Oversee inventory levels to balance cost and availability, minimizing stock-outs or overstock situations.
    • Implement inventory management systems and practices to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Technology and Data Analytics
    • Leverage supply chain software and tools (e.g., ERP, WMS, TMS) to streamline operations and improve decision-making.
    • Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, improve forecasting, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Implement new technologies and innovations to enhance supply chain performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Educational Background
    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
    • Certifications such as CSCP, CPIM, or Six Sigma are a plus.
  • Experience
    • Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
    • Proven track record in managing supply chains in [Manufacturing, FMCG, etc.].
    • Experience with ERP systems and supply chain management tools.
  • Skills and Competencies
    • Strong understanding of supply chain principles, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
    • Ability to lead and motivate teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
