Location: Gurgaon, India (No remote working)

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Business Development Executive with a strong background in generating business through Upwork and other freelancing platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, crafting competitive proposals, and building a solid pipeline of clients to achieve revenue targets. This role requires a candidate with a deep understanding of Upwork, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of successful project acquisition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue business opportunities on Upwork and similar platforms to drive revenue growth.
- Create compelling proposals tailored to client needs, focusing on value propositions and competitive advantages.
- Conduct research to understand client requirements and industry trends to deliver relevant solutions.
- Engage with clients through regular communication, effectively managing leads and closing sales.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring repeat business and referrals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align on project scope, deliverables, and pricing strategies.
- Maintain and update CRM with accurate records of interactions and client information.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3-4 years of experience in business development, specifically with a focus on Upwork and freelancing platforms.
- Proven track record of successfully generating business and closing projects on Upwork.
- Strong understanding of Upwork algorithms, bidding strategies, and client interaction best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and handle multiple projects concurrently.
