ABOUT THIS ROLE:

The Account Manager Intern will be responsible for initiating and nurturing robust relationships with new sports partners. This role is pivotal in guiding new partners through the onboarding process, from contract negotiations to compliance with legal requirements, and ensuring a smooth introduction to the company’s services. The Account Manager will also focus on partner training, support, and continuous engagement to foster long-term success and growth.

  • Onboarding New Sport Partners: The first responsibility is to onboard new partners effectively. This involves guiding them through the process of becoming a partner, including contract negotiations, legal requirements, and understanding the products or services they will be offering.
  • Training and Support: Providing training and ongoing support to partners is essential for their success. This may involve conducting training sessions, creating documentation or tutorials, and being available to answer questions or provide assistance as needed.
  • Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with partners is critical. This includes regular communication, understanding their needs and challenges, and working collaboratively to address them. Building trust and rapport is key to long-term partnerships.
  • Performance Monitoring: Tracking the performance of partners is necessary to ensure that they are meeting their obligations and driving results. This may involve monitoring sales metrics, customer satisfaction, or other key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to the partnership.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborating with partners on strategic initiatives is important for mutual success. This may involve joint marketing campaigns, product development efforts, or other strategic projects aimed at achieving common goals.
  • Issue Resolution: Addressing any issues or challenges that arise with partners is essential for maintaining a positive relationship. This may involve resolving disputes, addressing performance issues, or escalating concerns to higher levels of management if necessary.
  • Contract Management: Managing contracts and agreements with partners is a key aspect of the role. This includes negotiating terms, renewing contracts as needed, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations on both sides.
  • Growth and Expansion: Identifying opportunities for growth and expansion with existing partners is important for maximizing the value of the partnership. This may involve exploring new markets, expanding product offerings, or finding ways to increase revenue streams.



REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and relationships simultaneously.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Knowledge of the sports industry and current market trends.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sports Management, or a related field.

- 1-2 years of experience in account management, partner relations, or a similar role, preferably within the sports or related industries.

- Experience with contract negotiations and legal aspects of partner management is preferred but not required.
