Presales Solutions Architect

Role Overview:
We are seeking experienced professionals passionate about engaging with clients and guiding them on their data and digital transformation journey. As a Head – Pre-sales, you will play a critical role in identifying client needs, designing tailored solutions, and positioning our offerings to secure new business. This role combines strategic consulting, technical expertise, and client engagement, making it a key driver for winning deals and delivering value.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement & Solutioning:
- Engage with clients to understand their industry, business processes, and challenges.
- Design and recommend data-driven and technology-enabled solutions tailored to client needs.
- Conduct data analysis, assess systems and processes, and provide strategic recommendations.
- Deep understanding of market trends, technological insights, and competitive intelligence.
- Diagnose process gaps, identify automation opportunities, and propose digital transformation strategies.
Pre-sales Activities:
- Collaborate with sales teams to respond to RFx, including proposals, presentations, and bid defense.
- Design and deliver compelling demonstrations of solutions and capabilities.
- Develop and present commercial proposals aligned with client objectives.
Technology Expertise:
- Leverage key data engineering tools and technologies such as Apache NiFi, Kafka, Python, Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Databricks, Power BI, and Tableau to drive automation and transformation initiatives.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and advancements in data analytics, real-time processing, and cloud-based data solutions to deliver innovative and scalable outcomes.
Strategic Leadership:
- Assist leadership in defining and implementing strategies for the pre-sales and solutions function.
- Contribute to business development efforts through proactive proposals, upselling, and cross-selling.
Process & Customer Journey Optimization:
- Lead process improvement and business process reengineering initiatives.
- Design customer journeys with a focus on enhancing customer experience and satisfaction.
- Identify and address end-user pain points with strategic, innovative solutions.
Collaboration & Project Management:
- Work closely with practice teams to develop solution stacks for existing customers.
- Support account management teams in building relationships and driving additional opportunities.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities effectively, maintaining high organizational standards.
Key Requirements:
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline is a plus.
- Experience: 12+ years of experience in pre-sales, technology consulting, or digital transformation roles.
- Proven expertise in designing and delivering intelligent automation and digital transformation solutions.
- Experience in Digital Strategy, Consulting, or Business Transformation is essential.
Skills & Competencies:
- Should be hands-on with a good understanding of data engineering solutions and a strong interest in related technologies like Apache NiFi, Kafka, Python, Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Databricks, Power BI, and Tableau.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage C-suite executives.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and innovative solution design.
- Program and Project Management skills are an advantage.
