Job Title: Assistant Manager – E-Commerce

commerce platforms. We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Assistant Manager – E-Commerce to lead our operations and drive our growth across major marketplaces like Amazon, Flipkart, and other B2C platforms.


Roles & Responsibilities:


As an Assistant Manager – E-Commerce, your key responsibilities will include:


1. Marketplace Operations & Strategies:

o Develop and implement strategies to optimize performance across platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, and others.

o Manage product listings, pricing strategies, and ensure catalog accuracy and compliance with platform guidelines.

o Stay updated on algorithm changes, trends, and platform-specific opportunities to maintain a competitive edge.


2. Sales & Advertising Management:

o Plan and execute marketing campaigns and advertising strategies on platforms (e.g., Amazon Ads, Flipkart Ads).

o Monitor and analyze campaign performance, ensuring ROI and customer acquisition targets are met.

o Drive B2C sales through targeted promotions, deals, and seasonal offers.


3. Inventory & Supply Chain Management:

o Oversee inventory planning, ensuring stock availability while minimizing overstocking/understocking risks.

o Collaborate with the supply chain team to optimize delivery timelines and reduce order discrepancies.


4. Analytics & Performance Tracking:

o Track sales performance, unit economics, and profit & loss statements for e-commerce platforms.

o Conduct market analysis and competitor benchmarking to identify trends and opportunities.

o Provide actionable insights to improve product rankings, conversion rates, and customer engagement.


5. Team Leadership & Collaboration:

o Coordinate with cross-functional teams including marketing, supply chain, and vendors to ensure seamless operations.

o Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a high-performance culture.


6. Customer Experience Enhancement:

o Develop strategies to improve customer satisfaction, address feedback, and build brand loyalty on marketplaces.

o Monitor ratings, reviews, and service metrics, taking corrective actions where needed.


What We’re Looking For:


Basic Qualifications:

 Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or related field.

 3+ years of experience in managing e-commerce platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, or similar.

 Strong knowledge of B2C sales, digital marketing, and advertising strategies for marketplaces.

 Expertise in inventory management, pricing strategies, and financial performance analysis.


Preferred Skills & Traits:

 Hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub, or equivalent platforms.

 Proven track record of scaling sales and optimizing operations on marketplaces.

 Analytical mindset with proficiency in tools like Excel, Google Analytics, or other reporting platforms.

 Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving priorities.

 Excellent communication, team management, and stakeholder coordination skills.
