Senior Manager – Human Resource


Job Summary:

The Senior Manager - Human Resource will be responsible for leading and managing the human resources function within the organization. This includes developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with the company's objectives. The role involves overseeing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, and compliance with labour laws. The Senior Manager will work closely with senior leadership to foster a positive workplace culture and ensure the effective management of the HR team.


Key Responsibilities:


Strategic HR Leadership:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to the executive team, providing insights and recommendations on HR matters.

Talent Acquisition and Management:

  • Oversee the recruitment and selection process to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
  • Develop and manage onboarding programs to integrate new hires effectively.

Employee Relations and Engagement:

  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that promotes employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Address employee concerns and grievances in a timely and effective manner.

Performance Management:

  • Oversee the performance appraisal process and provide guidance on performance improvement plans.

Training and Development:

  • Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure the delivery of effective training programs, including leadership development initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Oversee the development and implementation of competitive compensation and benefits programs.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to mitigate risk and ensure a safe working environment.

HR Metrics and Reporting:

  • Develop and maintain HR metrics and reports to track the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.
  • Provide regular reports to senior leadership on HR-related matters.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 -7 years of progressive HR experience
  • Proven experience in strategic HR planning and implementation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
