Job Summary:
The HR Manager will oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This role is crucial for supporting business needs, ensuring the proper implementation of company strategy and objectives, and fostering a positive work environment. The HR Manager will manage both domestic recruitments for offshore projects and US IT staffing for our parent company.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement HR Strategies: Align HR strategies with the overall business strategy to support current and future business needs.
- Recruitment and Selection: Manage the recruitment process for both domestic and international positions, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Performance Management: Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Training and Development: Assess training needs, develop training programs, and monitor their effectiveness. Support the development, engagement, motivation, and retention of human capital.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations concerning employment. Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- HR Policies and Procedures: Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness like Leave Policy, Appraisal and Promotion, Disciplinary Policy, Exit & Termination Policy, and rewards recognition etc.
- Compensation and Benefits: Maintain pay plans, attendance, and Health benefits programs.
- Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Have in-depth knowledge of H1B Procedures like H1B Cap registration, documentation, RFE, LCA Posting, H1B Transfer etc.
- Facilitate effective team collaboration by fostering communication, coordinating efforts, and promoting a positive work environment to achieve organizational goals.
- Develop and implement forward-thinking HR strategies to anticipate and address future workforce needs, fostering a proactive and agile organizational culture.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, policies, and procedures.
- Experience with recruitment and staffing, especially in IT and software development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree or HR certification is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics solutions.
- Familiarity with US employment laws and regulations.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
