JOB DESCRIPTION:


Marketing specialist performs various functions in ensuring ZEISS brand and products are effectively promoted. The Marketing Specialist will be part of the Marketing Communications India and will be responsible for planning and implementing all marketing activities (including online and offline initiatives) in India. This includes all channels, providing support in all aspects from creative review, materials production, and execution.

Skills and Qualification:


• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or experience in a related field

  • Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
  • Experience with various advertising campaigns, including B2B and B2C
  • Experience working web content management tools
  • Good knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics tools
  • Expertise in the use of marketing automation tools other email marketing softwares
  • Ability to work effectively with MS Office package
  • Strong experience with social media marketing campaigns
  • Proficiency in English and exceptional presentation skills
  • Strong verbal as well as written communication skills
  • A keen eye for detail


Main tasks including but not limited to:


• Assist in marketing plan preparation, including budget and short and long-term strategy

• Create and maintain consistent corporate brand/image across all ZEISS product, events, and promotional materials including events with other Business Groups.

• Supervise operations of company’s email programs and websites regularly and perform analytics reviews for improvement.

• Spot new marketing opportunities for ZEISS and carry out marketing initiatives

• Responsible for planning ZEISS promotional and advertising communications projects such as digital, print, and special events to execute parts of the SSC marketing plans

• Work with relevant personnel in the SSCs on events/programs to have a firm understanding of their purpose and support where needed

• Create relevant reports on marketing activities, including post-event reports, regular status reports, and analysis

• Supervise the design, production, and distribution of collateral and promotional materials to aid ZEISS sales and marketing activities

• Ensure effective monitoring and maintenance of company’s marketing budget and application

• Assist in hiring contractors, including copywriters, advertising and marketing agencies, and external consultants; and serve as a liaison with contractors

• Support, plan or execute training programs for SSCs marketing specialist

• Apply various social media tactics in creating brand awareness and generating inbound traffic that strengthens ZEISS social media presence

• Create original, error free, clear, and concise copy for website content, promotional materials and newsletter that ensures compelling and effective communication

• Put in place measures for recording success in marketing and communication efforts; gather result data and produce reports for the management team.
